Kate is a student at Abbey Mount. She is Poppy's "big sister", which means she helps Poppy at her new school. Her roommates are Poppy, Kiki, Josie and Drippy.
She is usually the serious and sensible one of the group, but knows how to have fun when the time is right. She was also the person who came up with the idea to help Poppy Moore get expelled from Abbey Mount.
